Empties Abound #1

I finished up a few (perhaps a little bit more than few, if they can fit only in two posts… ;D) products in the last few months so here’s a compilation with a few thoughts and a verdict about repurchase.

Marc Jacobs Daisy
A lovely perfume. Light with a touch of sweetness in a gorgeous bottle. It’s an all in all winner. Since I started using it I’ve got several compliments and basically everybody found it a nice smell. My only complaint is that it is only an Eau de Toilette, they haven’t released a perfume version.
Repurchase: YAY!

Fresh Life
This is only a sample but I’ve fallen in love with it! It’s a really light smell (with citrus elements?) so it is not sweet at all. This is perfect for summer when I crave airy. I would also go out and say that this is THE smell for me. It blends on my skin like nothing else.
Repurchase: YAY!

Bumble and Bumble Thickening Spray
A fabulous volumizer for my lanky hair. I saw the difference the first time I tried it and the opposite too. The first time I had to do without it and my hair was back to its lanky self. That’s the best endorsement I have. Otherwise it is odorless and it doesn’t change the texture of my hair.
Repurchase: YAY!

Korres Pomegranate Tonic
As tonics go this is a good one. It says it brightens, well I don’t know about that but it offers a lot of product and I’ve been using it for close to 8 months now. I use it after a cleanser to get any makeup residue off. It has a little tingling thanks to the fruit acids it contains. It’s an okay choice, not the priciest as well but there are other good tonics out there.
Repurchase: Maybe one day

Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover
This a really good eye makeup remover. It has two parts: a water and an oil that needs to be shaken to mix. This is not my first and not my last bottle.
Repurchase: YAY!

Caudalie Beauty Elixir
This is an interesting product. It is hard to place. It smells nice and tingle a lot after spraying the face. Does it do anything? The opinions are quite divided in the blogging world. Some cannot live without it treating the little bottle as a staple of their skin care routine while others find the smell too offensive and cannot stand it. Me? I say it is an okay product and feels really luxurious if you have $30 to blow. And the answer is when I’m not living off of a scholarship with tight student budget, sure it’s a winner. Can’t wait for that day!
Repurchase: Maybe one day

Continued tomorrow with Ojon, Bioderma and much else…

See you soon!
